GoodDog Software Labs (“GoodDog Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software products and services including WelcomeDesk, KeyDog, and MapAnything (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to our customers, their authorized users, and visitors to our websites.
For most Customer Data processed through the Services, our customer (the business using the Services) is the controller or business that determines the purposes of processing, and GoodDog Labs acts as a processor or service provider that processes data on the customer’s behalf and under its instructions. For information about our own customers and website visitors—such as account and billing details—GoodDog Labs acts as the controller. If you are an end user (for example, a visitor signed in through WelcomeDesk), please direct privacy requests to the organization that operates that deployment.
We collect the following categories of information:

For self-hosted deployments, Customer Data remains within your own infrastructure and is not transmitted to or accessible by GoodDog Labs.

We do not use Customer Data to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train third-party advertising or marketing systems.
GoodDog Labs does not sell personal information or Customer Data, and we never will. We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your data to any third party for any purpose. We do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own independent commercial use.
These statements use the meanings of “sell” and “share” defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), and equivalent terms under other applicable privacy laws.
We disclose information only in the limited circumstances below, and never in exchange for money or other valuable consideration as part of a sale:
We use a limited set of subprocessors to deliver the Services, including infrastructure hosting, transactional email delivery, and payment processing. We require subprocessors to maintain appropriate safeguards and to process data only as needed to perform their services for us. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.
We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Following termination, we make Customer Data available for export for a limited period and then delete it from our active systems, subject to legal retention obligations and routine backup cycles. We retain account and billing records as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and regular review of our security practices. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for securing your own credentials and configuring the Services appropriately.
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no opt-out of sale or sharing to exercise—there is simply nothing to opt out of.
California residents have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted as a service provider. If you are an end user whose data is processed through a customer’s deployment, please contact that organization, which acts as the controller. For data where GoodDog Labs is the controller, contact us at the address below. We will verify requests and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child’s information has been provided to us, please contact us so we can address it.
Our websites and certain Services may use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the experience. Where required, we obtain consent for non-essential cookies. We do not use cookies to sell your information or to enable third-party cross-context behavioral advertising.
